Our Flower-Couture Journey at New York Fashion Week

We Landed in NYC with Flower Power: Our Fashion Week Prelude 🌹✨

In the heart of winter, with snowflakes in the air and excitement in our veins, we touched down in New York City—ready to bring the magic of floral couture to the world’s fashion capital.

We stayed at the Aura Hotel, just 200 meters from Times Square, the penthouse suite became our floral studio for the next 24 hours, a flower-strewn creative playground. Our mission? To make a blooming statement at Runway 7 for New York Fashion Week , and we were ready.

It wasn’t just a trip—it was a dream years in the making.

The Blooms Behind the Magic

Before the chaos of the runway kicked in, we staged an exclusive editorial photoshoot

in the Aura Hotel penthouse. It was our way of planting the flag and saying, “We’re here!”

We took a moment to breathe, to reflect, and to do what we love most: create art from flowers.

The penthouse photoshoot was our declaration of arrival

—a soft but powerful roar that floral fashion had entered the city.

We worked late into the night, fueled by NYC takeaway pizza, creative adrenaline,

and the sheer joy of watching each flower come alive as part of our couture story.

Every bloom had a role. Every detail was deliberate. Here’s what we created:

A Soft Pink Mini skirt & Cascading Floral Headpiece

– Designed with the dreamiest spray roses this piece gave late night vibes

with a high-fashion twist.

Deep Red Shoulder Pads – Crafted with Born Free roses

These bold power pads brought instant drama to the shoot.

Men’s Shoulder Pads – Perfect for late nights in New York City.

Worn by a male model and Designed in stunning garden roses,

proving once again that floral fashion is for everyone.

A Baby Doll Dress – Made entirely from fluffy white gypsophilia (baby’s breath)

—sweet, delicate with an edge, and oh-so fitting.

We worked through the day, Designing and building, Then at night we photographed each piece.

The New York skyline became our backdrop, the flowers our medium, and the penthouse our studio.

🎬 The Prelude to the Runway

This shoot was more than just edgey floral content—it was our declaration.
We had landed. We were here for Fashion Week. And we weren’t playing small.

The shoot set the tone for what was to come: our floral couture collection

was headed to Runway 7 at the legendary Sony Hall,

where the real show would soon unfold.

But in that quiet moment before the storm, up in the penthouse, we gave ourselves space to celebrate. To create. To announce our arrival in full bloom.

🌟 And That Was Just the Beginning…

The runway experience was unforgettable (more on that soon!),

but this penthouse shoot will always hold a special place in our hearts.

It marked the beginning of an incredible journey through New York Fashion Week

—one powered by petals, passion, and creativity.

A Moment to Remember

That photoshoot will stay with us forever. It wasn’t just about capturing our hype.

It was about marking a moment—before the backstage chaos,

the flashing lights, and the front-row buzz.

It was a quiet celebration of arriving. Of making it. Of turning petals into power.

The Heart Behind the Flowers

Working with Sunrite Farms, Malima and De Ruiter was more than just a partnership.

Their commitment to quality, longevity, and responsible growing practices gave us flowers we could trust—ethically grown, sustainably sourced, and absolutely breathtaking under pressure.

In the high-speed, high-stakes world of fashion week, that matters.

We chose each variety not just for looks, but for meaning, structure, and message.

Every design told a story—not just about beauty, but about resilience,

transformation, and self-expression.
