On a personal Note…….
‘I am one of those lucky people who just adore what they do!
My love of flowers stems from spending hours amongst the blooms and herbs in my grandmother’s garden as a little girl. Playing inside cavernous branches of the magnificent hydrangea, picking one of my Grandfather’s prized roses to carry around with me all day to enjoy it’s sweet perfume…. relocating snails out of the garden and worms into the garden.
Now, on my farm, I wake up bright and early to collect the florals for the day as Lewis, our grandpa rescue Goose & his wife Mildred, cheekily welcomes the sun and watches protectively over his family of hens & guinea fowl.
Rosie, my rowdy pup runs happily beside me to help me collect the daily eggs.
Tex the little black rescue cat stretches out in the sun on the top run of the garden bed.
Rod, my main squeeze, plays flamenco guitar under the weeping fig while I design a fabulous floral gown for a photoshoot.
Life is my kinda perfect.
I love creating & designing beautiful pieces of floral art – from sweet and simple all the way to the spectacular! Working with event coordinators, I help bring a room, marquee or simple area to life with flowers.
Flowers relax, be-dazzle, impress and evokes the senses through sweet perfumes.
I take the utmost pride in my Designs & my Name.

• Main stage Demonstrations at Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show + 5 days of onsite Workshops
• Full week of Activation at Floriade Australia + Weekend of on site Workshops
• Opened to Australian Wearable Art Runway with Floral Couture
• Conducted Mentor sessions for WAC with NAFA . Designed Media Activation and Runway Floral Couture for main event.
• Designed large scale sculpture to finish at Swell Sculpture Festival
• Appointed Creative Director and Arts Curator for the Main Beach Spring Flower Festival
• Created roaming Models for VIP Party at Angus Stone’s for Splendour in the Grass 2018
• Designed promotional imagery for the Australian Flower Festival 2017 & World Flower Summit 2018
• Media installs and drives for Botanical Bazaar – Gold Coast Garden expo and the Ekka – Royal Brisbane Show 2017-18-19.
• Commissioned to create a media ‘frenzy’ around avante pieces for promotional prior too & at events.
• Judge in the National ‘Rockstar’ Florist Competition, receiving over 2500 entries throughout Aus. Prize was to spend a day with Julia Rose, Cecilia Fox and Holly Hipwell.
• Designs have been featured in worldwide campaigns and fashion magazines. Julia has designed countless Cover images for print and online publications.
• Known for creating branding images, for Growers and well-known Internationally recognized Brands. Including billboards and large-scale media campaigns and red carpet events.
• Featured on ABC, Nine & 10 news, Fashion TV with fresh floral headpieces & runway extravaganza creations, featured as an ‘Artist’ on TV & radio programs.
• Curator for the Brisbane Arcade’s inaugural Spring Flower Show.
• Floral Design for a Channel 7 (West Media) Wedding series 2018-19.
• Feature designs for International Television shows with 10 – Granada and 9 (Bauer).
• Created an avant-garde floral gown for the QT Gold Coast Fashion week and awards.
• Opened International Fashion Week with three “floral gown” creations in 2014 & Sunshine Coast Fashion Week in 2015.
• Mentored and created large wearable fresh flowers pieces for CIAF in 2016, featuring on TV.
